To prepare :
Ingredients:
1 cup raw rice, washed and soaked in water for 3 hours
1 tspn salt
1 egg
2 cups of water
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
Method:
- Grind the soaked rice to a smooth paste in a grinder, using half of the water.
- Mix the egg with the batter.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Make a mixture of flowing consistency using the remaining water.
- More water can be added if the mixture is thick.
- Keep a non-stick pan on the fire.
- Grease it with the oil using a half cut onion.
- Take a ladle full of batter and spread it evenly on the pan or shake the pan so that the mixture
- Spreads evenly.
- Cover the pan with a lid.
- Allow to cook for a minute and transfer it to a plate to cool.
- Fold the dosa into four folds and serve with a chutney or sambhar or curry.
