BEEF MEAT ROAST

Beef meat is the red meat and is high caloric with fat content. Considering the protein and other nutrients that Beef meat contains there is no much harm in consuming the meat occasionally. Beef roast can be made of the whole chunk or of smaller portions of meat which is advisable as the meat will absorb the marinade properly and cooking will be easier.

TO PREPARE BEEF MEAT ROAST:
  • Ingredients:
  • 1 kg Boneless Beef cut into 1 ½” pieces
Make a paste of :
  • 2 tspn cumin powder
  • 3 tspn pepper powder
  • ½ tspn garam masala (cloves and cinnamon) powder
  • 1 tbspn ginger/garlic paste
  • Juice of one big lime
  • 1 tbspn oil, preferably olive oil
  • 1 tspn red chilly powder
  • ½ tspn turmeric powder
  • 1 tspn soya sauce
  • 1 1/2 tspn salt
METHOD:

  • Marinate the beef pieces with the paste overnight or at least for 6 hours.
  • Pressure cook the meat until cooked.
  • Cook the meat in the cooker without covering until the water, if any, gets absorbed.
